Las Posadas Highlights

Bethany Lutheran Church joyfully celebrated Las Posadas on Wednesday, December 18, with a meaningful bilingual (English and Spanish) service that honored Mary and Joseph’s journey and the call to hospitality. We were grateful to welcome members of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, who led the music and procession, and to hear the sermon preached by Hector Mendoza and translated by Kathy Picard. The evening concluded with shared food, warm fellowship, and a festive piñata, featuring homemade tamales lovingly prepared by Monica Garcia and her family...making for a joyful and spirit-filled celebration at Bethany Lutheran Church.
