Help Make Christmas a Little Brighter
It may feel like fall outside, but we’re already getting ready for Christmas! Each year, Bethany’s Social Action Team partners with Husmann Elementary School to help bring a little extra Christmas joy to local families who could use some support during the holidays.
Bethany shoppers are paired with children and purchase gifts especially for them, while parents receive a Walmart gift card to help with their own holiday shopping. Shopping expenses are reimbursed by Bethany, and shoppers receive everything they need to make the experience easy.
Then it’s time for Wrapping Day on Monday, December 14, from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Volunteers gather in Luther Hall for coffee, fellowship, and a whole lot of gift wrapping!
Want to help? We’re looking for shoppers, as well as wrapping volunteers through December 13. Sign up either on the tall bulleting or call the front office.
If you are intested in shopping, please either call the front office or sign up in the tall bulletin.
