The congregation is invited to gather on Sunday, April 19, at 10:00 AM for an important congregational meeting. During this time, there will be a discussion regarding the Call Committee, along with an overview of its recommendations. This is an opportunity to stay informed, ask questions, and engage in the life and direction of our church.
Following the discussion, the congregation will be asked to participate in two important votes. All voting members are encouraged to attend and take part in this meaningful time together.
Resolution #1 from the Call Committee:
To call The Rev. Katie Mueller as Pastor of Bethany Lutheran Church, designated as “Head of Staff.”
Resolution #2 from the Call Committee:
To empower the Call Committee to continue the call process by consulting with the Northern Illinois Synod to identify Deacon candidates, conduct interviews, and present a candidate to the congregation for a vote.
Please note that on April 19, there will be a worship service at 9:00 AM only. There will be no 10:00 AM service to accommodate the meeting.
