Sunday School is August through May! Students start in their classrooms at 9 am, and then join everyone in the sanctuary for the Children's Sermon midway through worship.
Our Worship Service
Worship at Bethany is rooted in the Lutheran tradition. In worship we make space for creativity, reflection, and expression. Music is at the heart of how we worship together, and we are grateful for a rich musical life that includes choir, vocalists, instruments, and our pipe organ that fills our sanctuary with sound and spirit. On any given Sunday, you can expect meaningful song, prayer, scripture, and a message that speaks to both faith and everyday life.
Open Communion Policy
At Bethany, we practice open communion. We believe the table belongs to Christ, and Christ’s invitation extends to all. Wherever you are on your faith journey; questioning, certain, or somewhere in between, you are welcome to receive the gift of grace in bread and wine. Children are welcome to participate at the guidance of their caregivers and gluten-free and non-alcoholic options are available at the communion table.
Dress
Come as you are. You’ll see everything from casual clothes to dress clothes on a Sunday morning, and all of it belongs. What matters most here is not what you wear, but that you are here, and that you are welcomed with care.
