At Bethany Lutheran Church, reflecting Christ in Message and Action means service to others.  We are called and devoted to serve each other, our community, our world.

Serving in our congregation

Caring Vine
The Caring Vine is a means to reach out to members who are experiencing difficult or transitional times.  This ministry includes the Prayer Shawl Ministry, blankets for new babies, as well as providing transportation or meals.

Prayer Chain
In the spiritual life of our church, this group plays its part by including in daily prayer those who have special needs.  Their names are supplied weekly at the request of the pastors and members with concerns for their family, friends or themselves.

Hooks 'n Sticks
Knitting prayer patches and prayer shawls for that warm "hug" that you might need.  Pick up anytime in the gathering area or library.

Birthday Card Bunch
Sending happy birthday greetings to our members to celebrate their special "month."

Funeral Lunches
Part of our inreach is caring for the simple needs of comfort food during this time.
