Summer Sundays at Bethany is a mini-concert series featuring local musicians who volunteer their time to bring free performances to McHenry County. Optional free-will donations at the concerts go directly to local charitable organizations.
This Sunday, August 4th is a Journey through American Folk Music, with double the experience!
Double your enjoyment this summer as we combine the charm of 1930s quilts with the magic of our final summer music performance.
Folk art is deeply rooted in cultural traditions and passed down through generations. Often functional, it encompasses crafts such as pottery, woodworking, knitting, and, of course, quilting.
During coffee hour, join us in Luther Hall to view a stunning collection of quilts from the 1930s. Don’t miss the opportunity to purchase unique pieces from local quilters or bid on an exquisite quilt in our silent auction. Bidding will close five minutes after the afternoon performance ends.
Celebrate summer with us through a delightful fusion of music, art, and cherished traditions!
All concerts are free and open to the public.
A free-will donation will be taken at each concert. In 2024, everything collected will be directly donated to New Directions Addiction Recovery Services. New Directions, located in Woodstock, is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the process of recovery from Substance Use Disorders.
