Our Cookies and Cocoa Fellowship Hour brings together all generations for a joyful kick-off to Advent—a time to slow down, savor community, and share in the spirit of anticipation.
Enjoy delicious cookies, a cozy cup of cocoa, and meaningful conversation as we prepare our hearts for the season. Advent calendars will be handed out to the kids, and there will be fun seasonal activities for all ages to enjoy together.
This year’s gathering will also include several special opportunities to engage more deeply in the Advent journey:

Visual Liturgy will be decorating the sanctuary, transforming our worship space for the season.

Craft stations will be available to help create items that will be used in beautifying the sanctuary.

Our Youth will begin their Flat Jesus Project, a creative and reflective Advent activity.

We will assemble care packages for neighbors experiencing homelessness, sharing God’s love in practical ways.

Temple Talks will offer helpful insights about the meaning and practices of the Advent season.
It’s a beautiful chance to pause, connect, serve, and step into Advent together as a church family.
